| For the love of all things good!
Granted, it is the time of year that swimsuits begin appearing in department stores. And as much as I hate to admit it, Ugg boots (and any Ugg wanna be boots) worn with a skirt surprisingly looks halfway decent. But for the love of all things grand, do people really have to wear their wet ugg boots with three-inch mini-skirts in 45* weather?!? Okay, so maybe three inches is streching it a little bit, but it's pretty darn close. Do these girls have no sense of temperature? It's freakin' 45 degrees out there! Fourty-five degrees fahrenheit, not celsius. What has the world come to?
| Moving on... why has my plans to move out been deffered?...two words...my dad. for some reason, he's always been able to send me on the biggest guilt trips! so i told my parents i was moving out and they flipped out...especially after they found out i wanted to move to natomas. i was on the verge of calling lani to pick me up, when my dad came in and took my brother's phone away. after that...the guilt trip... to make a long story short...i am now looking for a job and place to stay in davis. after i've found these two things...i can move out! | | |
| Back to Arkansas!
I can't believe I'm back in Arkansas! It's 3:02PM arkansas time, and i'm leaving in an hour for my trip back to California. Despite my strong dislike for arkansas, i'm really gonna miss the people here. It was so nice to see all my friends again, like Sabina, and Jimmy, and, of course, my girls from the asian mafia!
Trang, I'm so happy for you. The wedding was beautiful and I'm so glad i was a part of it. I wish both you and Danner a wonderful life together! Bertina, you haven't changed a bit! Thanks for explaining gradients to me. And if you ever feel guilty and want to cry on and on again, just call me up and i'll be there for you! Diana, I can't wait to see you in Cali again! You'll have so much fun and we'll be able to see each other more often! Jean, thanks for everything! Sorry you had to sleep on the futon all week, but you had Steven, so i guess that makes up for it. Congrats on getting into optomatry school and good luck!
So in a nut shell, here's what i did this week.
Thursday: flew to Arkansas and saw everyone!
Friday: rehearsal dinner, straightened my hair!
Saturday: got hair done, Trang's wedding and reception, went to the bars, and watched some drunk folks make a fool of themselves (not including bertina)
Sunday: woke up really late, went to cici's (pizza buffet for only $4!), watched Narina
Monday: got a tour of UofA, CiCi's again with Jimmy and Sabina (not to mention beating Steven at a pizza eating contest!), and now updating my online stuff
| WHAT A TRIP! and what a road trip it was! filled with disgusting gas station bathrooms, miles upon miles of walking, and a little ol' concert by WANG LEEHOM! overall, my trip to vegas this christmas has been kind of a blur. we drove for ten hours on christmas eve, walked around vegas for another ten hours, sang my heart out at the concert (well, i did, or tried anyway), and drove for another ten hours back. needless to say, work on monday was difficult for me. but despite all the fatigue, i had a wonderful time. thanks to val and lin who accompanied me throughout the trip. without them, i would of never made it (without them, i wouldn't have gone). and val, if i could choose two people, i would choose you two again, 'cause i had fun! my favorite part of the trip? wang leehom, of course. i could care less about vegas. for a concert, it was alright. but when leehom played the piano... it was magical. *hopeless romantic sigh* hehe...seriously, the guy's so talented...and he played the er hu, my favorite instrument! well, i'm back home now...unemployed since my last day was yesterday, so i'm just wasting time. i hope it stops raining soon. i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! | | |
